ANTI – SEXUAL HARASSMENT CELL

Our College strongly asserts sexual harassment against a woman or a student as a violation of the fundamental rights of women or an individual towards equality. To protect our students we have formed an Anti- harassment cell as per the Sexual Harassment of woman employers and students in the higher institution (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. Anti –sexual harassment cell is engaged in preventing discrimination and sexual harassment against women and students in the college by promoting gender amenity. The cell has tried to fulfill the directive of the Supreme Court for all employers to develop and implement a policy against sexual harassment at the work place. An Internal complaint committee has been created for the prevention and redressal of sexual harassment and gender based violence in the Campus. They are ready to take any necessary steps against any written complaint. The Cell is ready to take strict disciplinary action against the violators depending on the nature and extent of the incident but we are happy that we don’t have such complaint till date.
